Obituaries
An obituary is a written announcement letting the world know that someone has died. Traditionally, an obituary includes details about someone’s life, a bit about what the person loved and who has been left behind. Obituaries are often shared with a funeral home, newspapers and other outlets.
A Thoughtful Death obituary is $200 and includes:
~ 2-3 interviews with family or community members to learn about the deceased person
~ Neshia writing the obituary instead of a bereaved family or community member
~ Two opportunities to edit draft together (if desired)
~ A final copy to share with the funeral home, newspapers, etc.
~ A truly customizable experience

Eulogies
A eulogy is a speech often given at a funeral or memorial in honor of someone who has died. Eulogies often include many of the same pieces as an obituary (birth, death, family info) but also tend to share more intimate aspects about the person like favorite stories and warm memories.
I offer two types of eulogy packages. If someone wants to present a eulogy but needs support writing and preparing, I charge $100 an hour and offer:
~ Collaboration with the eulogist to co-write, edit and coach through the speech
If a community wants me to independently write and present the eulogy on their behalf, I charge $300. This includes:
~ 3-4 interviews to learn about the decedent from members of their community
~ Neshia writing a 15-20 minutes long speech
~ Two opportunities to edit draft together (if desired)
~ Presenting the final eulogy on behalf of the community)
Either package offers a truly customizable experience.
